Branding & Identity
WPHP (Washington Physicians Health Program) came to us for a complete redesign of their branding. Their original logo had a sad, closed off feeling, the colors were depressing, and it was difficult to reproduce at small sizes. WPHP deals with serious issues with their clients, (substance abuse and behavioral issues among physicians) they wanted their identity to respect the serious nature of their service while still imparting a sense of hope and growth. We needed to create a new logo that did not step too far away from their current logo, as they have an established brand recognition.
Our design solution was to keep the general form of the logo, but open it up, and make it more dynamic through the rhythm of the shapes and the play of colors. The new logo colors are more cheerful and hopeful.
